This person was able to survive a quick dip into liquid nitrogen because of the Leidenfrost Effect. The Leidenfrost Effect is created here because the warmth from this person’s hand immediately created a thin layer of vapor which insulated it from the rapidly boiling liquid nitrogen. It’s totally safe if you know what you’re doing and avoid trapping the boiling cold liquid against your skin. Do I perhaps hear a new video from Explainer TV?
