A fear is a programmed survival instinct in our body that is activated when we sense ‘danger’. Whether it be darkness, insects, or heights, these ‘dangers’ trigger a response called “Fight or Flight”. Our body either prepares itself to fight off the danger, or mobilizes itself to run away from it.
It is only until the danger becomes “all-clear” will our bodies turn off this response.
